Refund policy
First thing to note:
The BirdHive is a small business who uses print on demand in order to reduce waste. The item you want will only come to be when you order it! Cool right? We will only make what is wanted. That being said please be patient when emailing us, and don't be afraid to email reminders if we don't respond within 3-4 days (a rare occurrence).
What’s your return policy?
Due to the nature of Print On Demand orders to reduce overall waste, we have a strict policy on returns, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at addyvin@birdhivedesigns.com! Defective or incorrect orders will be able to be returned within 35 days of receiving your order.
We have a 35-day return policy, which means you have 35 days after receiving your item to request a return.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 35 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
If you fail your perception check please contact addyvin@birdhivedesigns.com with the issue within 35 days of receiving your item. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
What if I received the wrong item?
Please let us know at addyvin@birdhivedesigns.com within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!
Refunds
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at addyvin@birdhivedesigns.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.
Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).
Unclaimed - Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself or your end customer (if and as applicable).
The BirdHive does not accept returns of sealed goods, such as but not limited to face masks, which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons. You hereby agree that any returned orders with face masks won’t be available for reshipping and will be disposed of.
