When I started work on this design, it was just the summer of 2024. Harris started campaigning and I was filled with hope and excitement for the future. This design just a funny cosmic horror joke (but also, not joke) to add to the store for a "fun mood."

"Consume the Rich" was near completion and just needed some polish before sample orders...

...when Harris lost the race. Disappointed is an understatement. I was crushed. I wanted our first lady president, I wanted my Governer, Tim Walz, as VP.

I could not draw or paint much until January. I added polish to this as a way to get myself back in the creative flow, but the mood had shifted. It was not funny anymore.
